Sources and research policy

What different sources establish

A provider’s current fee or disclosure page can establish what it publishes. It cannot independently prove approval rates, customer outcomes or that the provider is the best option. General consumer explanations use appropriate primary sources such as CFPB material.

What we record

For material figures we retain the source URL, review date, the statement checked and unresolved conflicts. A source appearing in search is not, by itself, proof that it supports a claim. We read the relevant page where accessible.

Unknown and conflicting terms

We do not fill gaps with a similarly named domain, an undated review or a partner commission. Where a source cannot be checked, we omit numeric claims or mark the listing as pending. Conflicting rates or amount limits are identified on the relevant provider page.

Freshness

Rates, fees, availability and destinations can change. The date on a page is a review date, not a real-time guarantee. Confirm the actual provider terms and lender agreement before deciding. We do not claim continuous monitoring.

Limits of our research

No claim of hands-on testing, lender licensing verification, account access, a full market survey or personalized eligibility assessment is made. Public consumer terms also do not establish the permitted traffic sources in an affiliate contract.

Your side-by-side comparison

Different product categories are not interchangeable. Published figures are not personal offers.
